Liturgy
Our worship services follow a liturgy based on God communicating with his people through the Bible and preaching, and the congregation responding through prayer, singing and offerings. They involve the following:
- Call to worship from the Bible
- Vow of faith from the congregation (Psalm 124:8)
- Greeting from God (Revelation 1:4-5)
- Reading of the Ten Commandments (am)
or the Apostles Creed (pm) - Singing of Psalms and Hymns
- Reading of the Bible
- Preaching
- Prayer
- Financial collection
- Blessing from God (Numbers 6:24-26)
In addition, we celebrate the sacrament of the Lord’s Supper six times a year, and, when requested by members, the sacrament of baptism is administered to children born to believing parents, and to adults who seek to join Christ’s church.
